Home Grown Learners has been busy!! We have done a lot since this school year started! Some other things we have done(that isn't pictured above) were the Sea World Home school day, Park Days, Minute to Win It game day, and most recently a Fire Station tour.

Learning is FUN! I love the freedom that homeschooling my children gives us to learn outside of our home. Being apart of this group has brought support, encouragement, and new and close friendships for myself and my children. We are blessed.

The first half of my home schooling journey was tough because I felt alone and kind of lost. I didn't know many people who home schooled too. Thing is, if you aren't happy with where you are at, do something to Change it. I didn't want to spend some years feeling isolated, and discouraged on this journey. I wanted more. I researched for homeschooling groups in my area and found HGL. When we became apart of HGL, things changed for us. There is strength is numbers and I definitely have support on this journey as a home schooling mama with my friends from HGL. It's nice to exchange ideas, learning curriculum that works for some families, home schooling conventions, and just growing by learning from seasoned homeschooling mama's and new homeschooling mama's. It's been a great experience.

We look forward to Fridays where we spend time together either doing learning activities, park days, birthday celebrations, and mom's nights out. I am blessed to be apart of this group of families. My kiddies and I look forward to the new year and more HGL awesomeness.
