Thanksgiving Color Bracelet

Everyday is a day of Thanksgiving.

God’s colors show us Everyday is Thanksgiving

Red is God’s unending love,
Purple for Jesus, the Royal King of Kings.
Black for the universe that holds the stars up high,
Blue that covers the glorious sky.
Yellow for the golden sun that shines so bright,
Green is for the grass, and leaves- a pretty sight.
White reminding us to love everyone
For we all are a special someone.
Orange tells us to be thankful everyday
For the beauty of God and His wondrous ways!

I found a craft to do a Thanksgiving bracelet for the kids to do today. I added a few colors, and put my own spin on the poem. This activity is fun way for my children to learn the following,

1) Thanksgiving is everyday

2) reforce colors for Gwyneth and our friend Carter

3) God's perfect creation is to be celebrated

Heavenly Father, I just come to you in the name of Jesus, and give you thanks for all your goodness. You are awesome, and I am thankful for your spirit living on the inside, leading, guiding me according to your will. Everyday I am thankful for the love of Jesus, and the power of your living word that changes me. I give you all the glory and praise for showing me each day how to teach, and guide my children, your gifts to me. I pray for continued impartation by the Holy Spirit, and my daily walk show them your love, all the days of my life. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.
