Since there is no colorful foliage 'round these parts, we created some with watercolor. Found this art project from one of my favorite blogs, art for kids.
We cut out napkin leaves(paper towel is reccomended), we just used what we had on hand. Then we glued(emmerse the leaf napkins in equal parts glue/water) them to watercolor paper, once dry the kids outlined them heavily with crayon(to keep water colors from bleeding outside of leaves)and went to town creating their fall leaves. The objective is creating color with texture.
They turned out beautiful!
