This week we are continuing to learn about birds. Different kinds, where they live, and what they eat. So today we made a homemade bird feeder! This craft is kinda hard especially for the our friend/little tot to the far left, but he did a great job trying!!

These are the supplies I used: peanut butter, bird feed, pine cones, and the pipe cleaner to secure around the top to hang off a tree.

Rollin, Roollin', Rooollin' in the peanut butter!

Graysen used a spatula to paint the peanut butter onto the cone.

On to sprinkling the food on the cone..

Gwynni rolled hers in a container...

And our friend Carter took the "one by one, gets the job done" approach; I had to help him later.. :)

Lookin' good!

All DONE!!! They look great! I also used hot glue around the base of pipe cleaner to make sure it stays together.
What a fun way to start off the week! The children really enjoyed this because they get to help feed the birds. I am thankful for the opportunity to learn with them!
