All In The Name of Love

It's Valentine's Day, yay! Happy love day. This is a great day to celebrate, sun is out, weather is in the 70's *yea it was 17's last week, and we've had a great school day!

We centered our schooling around love today. The children woke up to a decorated valentine's table, and little goodie bags. During bible lesson time we talked about how much Jesus loves us, and made mini Jesus loves me books. Our craft was making owls out of heart shapes, saying "Owl" always love you" and "whoo" loves you? Me that's whoo." G's loved doing the crafts! We will continue celebrating with peanut butter heart shaped pancakes, grapes for dinner, and a family movie!

Each day must be centered around the love of our Lord God. I must do all things in the name of love, not just because it's a special day. Specifically as I grow into the teacher I am to be, there are many lessons God is teaching me. Homeschooling is hard work, and it takes dedication, passion, patience, LOVE, DISCIPLINE to name a few. As we continue to celebrate this beautiful day the Lord gave us, I will rejoice and be glad in it. For every day is a new day to do all things in love!
