I have been away for awhile...yes, it's been too long.
There have been many changes but before I get into some of the changes, let me explain the first change. My blog.
I have wanted to rename my blog for some time now and have been in deep thought about it's name all this time. I am such a deep thinker and have concluded with my personality that I am such a detailed person. I like to explain details (even when not completely necessary), to have things done a certain way before I feel its right to dive in. It doesn't always work out in my favor, for I tend to want things "perfect" or all in line before I "think" it's right. Ha! With God's guidance through the Holy Spirit I am learning that I will not always have things the exact way I want them before the time is "right" to do something. This something I am talking about today is my blog.
I spent a lot of time researching words that would best describe me or my way of living. I put so much thought into what I was doing that I just kept putting it off. I finally landed on the blog title "Daily Refined". Today, just few minutes ago.
I was going to name it Towdah Road ( click on link for meaning or see "about me" section) to describe my worship journey through this life, but I wasn't 100% sold out on it. Then I thought I would start a new blog but thought, eh I don't care about having or making something else. As I began to write all of these things down about a new blog and worked through the details, I thought it was getting too complex. As detailed as I am, my style remains simple. So I stuck with simple!
I chose Daily Refined, because that's who I am. This life is a journey and I am not classified as just one thing, an insulin junkie. I am many things, thanks to my God. I want to be able share my life and thoughts on many things not just confined to one thing. So I chose change.
Jesus is constantly changing, refining and molding me, as I seek him. And I will embrace this change joyfully and I will do what I am called to do on this road I travel! Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path," the path I travel must be guided by His word, otherwise I am lost.
I Love the following verses in Jeremiah and how they speak of us being the clay and our God is the potter-we are molded according to His will.
5Then the word of the LORD came to me: 6"O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the LORD.Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
Have a great Friday!
Naomi

Jesus is my travel guide through this path of my life. I am not perfect, but with GOD I will grow, change and mature into the person He created me to be.
I Love the following verses in Jeremiah and how they speak of us being the clay and our God is the potter-we are molded according to His will.
Jeremiah 18:4-6 (English Standard Version)
4And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.
4And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.
5Then the word of the LORD came to me: 6"O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the LORD.Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
For I am a work of art, daily refined through my Artist and King, Jesus Christ.
Looking forward to sharing some things that have changed in the last few months! So excited to blog again, now that my blog is what I want it to be! :) Yahoooooooo! Yeehaaaaaw!
Have a great Friday!
