Embracing this Christmas Season

This season, its a blessed season. We put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving, and it was such a fun experience. We have a wreath on the door, and lights on our house.
Funny because I remember last year but it wasn't like this year. Last year seemed rushed, we had just moved into our new house, and my kids were 3 and 1. I say this Christmas is blessed because I appreciate more then I have in a loooong time.
I have embraced this season. No rush. I want to stay in the moment. I linger a little longer staring at the twinkling tree my children decorated with love, bake goodies more,Christmas pj's and hot chocolate, have even started advent. I want to teach my kids the true meaning behind this *magical* season. So easily I can get caught up in rushing through everything--everyday, but just as the saying goes,"Stop and smell the roses;" yes! I am going to slow my RoLL and continue to soak it all in. I blinked and now I have a 4yr old and 2yr old, so I am on a mission to be a snail from here on..just taking the days in, appreciating more, loving my babes more, laughing more and slowing down.
I have everything I need this Christmas and don't want anything more...Although, we did get a new TV, and I received a new camera from my Husband. SO I should say, I have what I wanted! Tee hee! hee!
I am happy to share a few pics that bring laughter and warmth to my heart. This is why I am blessed....
